Gombe governor presents 2022 budget estimates

Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Governor of Gombe State is set to present 2022 budget estimates to the state assembly later in the day.

According to Ismaila Uba Misilli, spokesman of the governor, the budget draft was approved on Monday by the state executive council.

He said the presentation will be held at the State Assembly Complex by 11:00AM today.

He explained that the presentation will also be broadcast live on radio stations, and can be accessed on social media platforms.

He reiterated the commitment of his boss in making public interest the centerpiece of his administration.

'A town hall meeting earlier held with traditional rulers, community leaders, trade unions, faith-based and non-governmental organizations as part of Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s determination to carry the people along and make them the centerpiece of his administration both in budget preparation and governance in general,' Misilli said in a statement Wednesday.
