Nasarawa groups urge Tein Jack-Rich to join presidential race

A Coalition of Nasarawa State Youths Groups, has renewed call on Rivers State born philantropist, Mr Tein Jack-Rich, to join the 2023 presidential race.

Malam Muhammad Lawal, a spokesperson for the Coalition, said this in a statement on Sunday in Keffi.

Lawal, also the state Coordinator, Tein Jack- Rich Vision for Prosperous Nigeria Movement, said that the oil magnate was eminently qualified to be the next Nigerian president.

He said that the coalition was made up of groups like the African Visionary Leaders Associations (AVILA), Arewa Youth Assembly, Partners for Nasarawa Youth Development and Keffi Pacesetter.

Lawal said that the coalition has resolved to mobilise support for Jack-Rich once he accepted to join the race, explaining that the support was based on his contributions towards nation building, peace advocacy, security stability, infrastructure development in the country.

“We are particularly impressed with his desire to support government effort to enhance food security by building a rice mill in Kebbi State where processing rice and sharing same freely to the needy across the state, ” he said. He described Jack-Rich as a man who believed in the unity of Nigeria.

“Jack-Rich is a man who has no barrier in terms of ethnicity or religion. It is based on these factors and many more that we decided to endorse him for 2023 Presidency.

” We feel he is the best person that will consolidate on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari, because of his visible performance across the country.

”He has done much in the area of provision of potable water to the people, employment and empowerment, road construction, provision of basic healthcare and support for education particularly in the area of award of scholarships to indigent sons and daughters of Rivers State, Niger Delta and other Nigerians,” he said.
