BREAKING: Again, fire guts Muna IDP camp for the third time in three weeks

Another fire outbreak has hit Muna Albarnawi Internally Displaced Persons Camp in Maiduguri.

This outbreak, occurring this morning, is the third in the last three weeks.

The last two were last week and the week before, leaving several thatched shelters and other properties burnt.

Our correpsondents report that the fire has just been put out by firefighters from the state fire service.

Muhammad Muna told YERWA EXPRESS NEWS that the cause of the fire is not yet known.

Our reporters cannot also ascertain the level of damage as assessment of situation is still ongoing.

YERWA EXPRESS NEWS is working with experts to determine the cause(s) of the incessant fire outbreaks in the camp.
