NSCDC parades kidnap suspects in Adamawa

Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC has paraded six suspected kidnappers terrorizing the Northern part of the state.

The suspects were said to have been terrorizing people in Gombi, Hong and Mubi local government areas of the state.

Muhammad Maksa, the state commandant paraded the suspects on Tuesday in Yola, capital of the state.

He named the suspects as Mohammed Umar, 40; Abubakar Jabi, 25; Usman Abubakar, 28; Abdullahi Dogo, 25; Suleiman Mamman, 22 and Umaru Umaru, 19.

According to him, the suspects were arrested by the troops of the Nigerian Army who later handed them over to the NSCDC,

‘They were arrested with sophisticated weapons and they have made useful confessional statements,’ the Daily Post quoted the commandant as saying.

He added that after due investigation, the suspects will be charged to court for trial.
