Bomb explosion leaves 9 dead in Borno town

At least nine people were reportedly killed after a bomb explosion in Bama Local Government Area of Borno.

  A Civilian Joint Task Force who disclosed this to our reporter said the incident happened around 12:00 pm of today.  

He said the affected nine people were scrap metal scavengers, who live in Government Girls Secondary School Bama, which is now an internally displaced persons’ camp.  

As at the time of this report, YERWA EXPRESS NEWS is yet to ascertain other information.

  Bama is 68 kilometers from Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital.
