Atiku appoints veteran broadcaster as campaign spokesperson

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party has appointed Mr. Charles Aniagwu as one of his spokespeople.

Paul Ibe, Mr. Abubakar’s media adviser announced the appointment in a statement on Tuesday.

According to Ibe, the appointment takes immediate effect.

He said this while tasking the new appointee to keep the electorate up to speed with happenings about his bid, among other things.

Before his appointment, Mr. Aniagwu served as a commissioner for information in Delta State.

He is a veteran broadcaster with over two-decade experience in the media industry.

He joins other appointees who have been announced earlier as spokespersons to the campaign council such as Mr. Daniel Bwala.
