After over 400 Boko Haram fighters and their families relocated to Bazamari in Konduga Local Government Area over the weekends, they have again moved to other new locations, this time with a lot more of them.

YERWA EXPRESS NEWS has learned Tuesday morning that an even larger number of them have also relocated in the last two days. Their number has risen by about 2, 000 men and women.

A credible source who spoke to our reporter and asked not to be named said they have, from Bazamari, relocated to Arnari, Arijari and Bor Kurari, villages located within a distance of 10 kilometers along the Kawuri – Konduga axis.

The source revealed that the terrorists are having different meetings since the last defeat inflicted on them by the ground and air troops of Operation Hadin Kai.

He also hinted to our reporter that there is a likelihood that this will be followed by massive defections, as they appear to have been largely routed in the last operation.

'They are out of weapons and foodstuffs, many of their commanders have been killed. They also lost many fighters, and I think with all these, there will be a massive surrender within a short period,' the source said.

Appeal for support

Conflict Reporting is dangerous and risky. Our reporters constantly face life-threatening challenges, sometimes surviving ambushes, kidnap attempts and attacks by the whiskers as they travel and go into communities to get authentic and firsthand information. But we dare it every day, nonetheless, in order to keep you informed of the true situation of the victims, the trends in the conflicts and ultimately help in peace building processes. But these come at huge cost to us. We are therefore appealing to you to help our cause by donating to us through any of the following means. You can also donate working tools, which are even more primary to our work. We thank you sincerely as you help our cause.
