Gov. Zulum appoints Dr. Mallumbe as deputy CoS

Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, has appointed Dr. Mustapha Mallumbe as the deputy chief of staff (CoS) to the governor's office.

His appointment was announced on Monday by the governor during the signing of 2025 budget into law at the council chamber of the Government House, Maiduguri.

Dr. Mallumbe, who is currently serving as the commissioner for budget and economic planning, will serve as the deputy to the chief of staff, Prof. Isa Marte Hussain.

This appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the governor's office and enhance the state's developmental initiatives.

The appointment of Dr. Mallumbe as deputy CoS is expected to bring additional expertise and experience to the governor's office, further supporting the state's development agenda.
