Victims of a suspected Boko Haram attack in Mafa ward of Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe state—127 in number—have been buried.
The burial held after Zuhr prayers today in Babbangida Town, headquarters of Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe state.
Total of 87 people were buried at Babbangida while 40 were buried at Mafa.
The attack was on Sunday evening, where the terrorists went on senseless killings of innocent people.
Our sources said the town was stormed by the terrorists mounted on over 50 motorcycles.
In addition to the killings, they also set ablaze many shops and houses while shooting sporadically.
Several injuries of various degrees were also reported.
