Nigerian Army kills over 60 terrorists in North East

The Nigerian Army has neutralized more than 60 terrorists in North Eastern Nigeria.

This achievement was announced in a statement issued by the Nigerian Army on January 26.

According to the statement, the troops carried out a one-week operation, led by Operation Hadin Kai which resulted in the clearance of a terrorists hideouts at Timbuktu Triangle.

In the operation the troops lost a commanding officer, two officers, and other personnel, while 20 were injured.

According statement 'On 24 January at about 7:10 pm, the terrorists cowardly rammed into troops at their harbor position with a vehicle-borne IED at Gardiri, killing a commanding officer, two officers, and some of our very brave men, while injuring 20 others.'

During the operation, the troops recovered 14 AK-47 rifles, 6 RPGs, 18 motorcycles, and 24 AK-47 magazines.

The Army commiserated with the families of the lost personnel and prayed for their souls to rest in peace.
