This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Nigerian Army on Sunday.
According to the statement, the success was recorded during an operation by troops of Hadin Kai on January 16 that led to the dislodgment of the terrorist enclaves in Jemyeri, Abula, Agum, and Digamari.
During the operation, the troops stormed Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) training camp at Garin Baban Alhassan.
'During this operation, troops destroyed the camp and neutralized 18 including 3 notorious commanders identified as Talha, the ISWAP women leader, Mallam Umar the RPG trainer and Abu Yazeed the ISWAP brigade commander in Timbuktu Triangle,' the statement said.
The statement confirmed that the terrorist were placed on the back foot as they were on the run all through seeking to find new hideout within the Timbuktu Triangle.

But these come at huge cost to us. We are therefore appealing to you to help our cause by donating to us through any of the following means.
